Halo Water Proofing started small in the Newton area and grew because customers kept referring us to their neighbors — that's still how most of our work comes in today.
We don't run a bidding war between crews. The Newton technician who inspects your property is the same one who does the repair, start to finish.
We've worked on foundations from decades-old Newton homes to brand-new builds still settling into their soil, so whatever your basement is dealing with, we've likely seen a version of it nearby.
One phone call gets you a straight answer and a real appointment — not a vague callback promise.
📞 +1-866-476-1348Water problems build slowly before they become emergencies. These are the clues our Newton crews hear about most.
A musty smell usually means moisture is already moving through your Newton basement, even if the floor looks bone dry.
Stair-step cracking in block foundations is one of the most common early signs our Newton crews see.
Efflorescence is a reliable early sign that water is moving through your Newton foundation wall right now.
A Newton sump pump that never rests is usually undersized or nearing the end of its life.
If a foundation wall looks like it's curving inward, that's beyond a simple patch and needs a real assessment.
Peeling paint near the floor upstairs is one of the last signs Newton homeowners connect to a basement problem.
From a 2 a.m. sump pump failure to a planned exterior drainage project, here's what our Newton crews handle most.
When water shows up fast, we move fast — extraction, drying equipment, and a plan to stop it from happening again.
Get Emergency Help →Seasonal ground movement in Newton tends to widen existing cracks over time, so sealing early usually costs less than waiting.
Ask About Crack Repair →Already have a pump that's struggling? We'll test it honestly and tell you whether it needs replacing or just a tune-up.
Book a Pump Check →For yards fighting bad grading, an exterior French drain intercepts water before it ever touches the foundation wall.
Talk Drainage Options →A damp Newton crawl space drives up humidity throughout the house — we seal it completely with heavy-duty vapor barrier and add dehumidification where needed.
Get a Crawl Space Quote →We can phase larger Newton commercial projects around business hours or tenant schedules so operations keep running.
Request a Commercial Quote →No pressure, no scripts — just what actually happens once you call +1-866-476-1348.
You'll talk to a person, not a script — enough of a conversation to know what to expect before anyone shows up.
We point out exactly what we find as we find it, so nothing about the diagnosis feels like a black box.
The number you approve is the number you're billed — no change orders once the crew shows up.
You get documentation of the work plus a real warranty — not just a handshake.
We've heard every Newton horror story about contractors who disappear mid-job or pad the invoice. Here's how we do it differently.
You get a real number before any work starts — what you approve is what you're billed.
A local dispatch model means the technician who answers your questions is the same one who shows up.
Warranty terms are explained in plain language before you sign, with no fine-print surprises later.
If your Newton basement just needs a small crack seal instead of a full system, that's exactly what we'll tell you.
Filing a claim can be confusing — we've walked Newton customers through this process many times.
Every Newton job reflects on the next referral, so we treat each one like it matters.
"Woke up to a wet basement and had someone out by mid-morning. No pressure, no upsell, just fixed it."
"Got three quotes for a crack repair. This was the only company that actually explained why the crack was happening instead of just naming a price."
"Our sump pump died during the worst storm of the year, obviously. Battery backup was installed the next day and we haven't worried since."
"Straightforward commercial quote, professional crew, no back and forth."
"French drain install took two days exactly as quoted, and the yard looked better than before."
"First contractor who actually explained where the water was coming from instead of just quoting a number."
"Sump pump inspection was thorough and they didn't try to sell me a new one when mine just needed a part replaced."
We back our Newton work with real, transferable warranties because we plan to be here long after the job is done, not just for the one visit.
